Bob Lum - Japanese-style knife
Known primarily for pocket knives such as the Chinese Folder, knifemaker Bob Lum was a real talent in his field. His style was decisively influenced by the Japanese art of knifemaking, which inspired Lum early on, for example with its tanto blades. He always incorporated stylistic means from Japan into his custom knives, which he completely reinterpreted from a modern point of view. Above all, he produced noble folders that were perfect for the EDC sector as well as sturdy outdoor knives for bushcrafters and collectors. Today, some of his works, which were created in cooperation with Benchmade or Spyderco, are sold in series. Since he died in 2007, there are only a few models left on the market, such as the Lil' Lum Chinese Folder.
