In a world where every gram counts, the Ka-Bar Becker Remora is the essential tool for today's survivalist. Designed by none other than Ethan Becker, a master of his craft, this knife is a true masterpiece of efficiency and functionality.
With a height of only 2.9 cm and a compact blade length of 6 cm, the slim Ka-Bar Becker Remora is the epitome of miniature survival. Despite its low weight of only 34 g, this knife is equipped with a blade made of 1095 Cro Van carbon steel, which is coated with a robust black coating. This coating protects the blade from external influences and gives it an aggressive yet elegant aesthetic. The hollow grind ensures optimum edge retention and versatility in any situation. The BK13CP Neckknife is more than just a small knife; it is an essential tool for everyday survival in the city, in the country or in the wilderness. Designed as a fixed blade knife in a skeletonized construction, it offers maximum stability with minimum weight. This design makes it ideal for the typical neck knife carry. The sheath was of course also developed to match, minimalist, lightweight and perfect for quick access in critical situations.
The option of a paracord wrap (not included) around the handle makes the Ka-Bar Becker Remora an individual statement! Be it in classic olive green, camouflage camo pattern or even in eye-catching bright pink. This detail ensures that the needs and preferences of the wearer can be adapted and at the same time improves the hand position many times over.
Small, light and yet powerful! The Ka-Bar Becker Remora is an indispensable accessory for anyone embarking on life's adventures.

KA-BAR is a renowned knife company that originated in the USA in 1890. The original company that launched the famous hunting knife "Model 1219C2" with a 17 cm long Bowie blade was called "Union Cutlery Company". Only 8 years later the company was renamed "Tidioute Cutlery Company". However, it was not until the Second World War that the KA-BAR knife became world famous. The US military was looking for an improved weapon for close combat and found the perfect solution in the KA-BAR knife. Major Howard America adapted the design of the knife in 1942 and it became the "KA-BAR-US Navy and Marine Corps Utility Knife MKII" with an extended blade length of 17.8 cm, weight reduction and an oval leather handle made of pressed leather discs. It proved itself in the military and was used as one of the most popular close combat weapons until today.
After the war, the company was renamed "KA-BAR Cutlery Inc." in 1952 and is now based in Olean, New York. In addition to the KA-BAR knife, the company also offers various special series and variations of knives. The KA-BAR knife is still available today as the "Full-Size USMC KA-BAR, Straight Edge".
The origin of the name "KA-BAR" is not exactly clear, but it may derive from "kill a bear" or as an abbreviation for "Knife Attached - Browning Automatic Rifle". The Browning Automatic Rifle was also part of the standard inventory of the infantry squad in WW2. Today, the KA-BAR knife is known as the forefather of combat and mission knives and enjoys worldwide popularity.
