When nature calls, the Marttiini Lynx 121 is the perfect companion – a knife that impresses not only with its functionality, but also with its deep connection to Nordic craftsmanship. Made in Finland, it embodies the essence of the Scandinavian outdoor lifestyle: simple, reliable, and in harmony with nature.
The handle, made from beautiful curly birch, fits comfortably in the hand and its warm, natural texture is reminiscent of vast forests, clear lakes and the quiet crackling of a campfire. The 9 cm long trailing point blade made of rust-free 420 chrome steel is robust, easy to maintain and ideal for a wide range of tasks in the wilderness – from precise carving to cutting dry meat or ropes.
Weighing only 53 g, the Lynx 121 is a real lightweight – ideal for longer hikes or backpacking trips. Its well-balanced design makes it particularly popular with women and young people who are looking for a handy, reliable tool without compromising on quality.
The traditionally embossed leather sheath protects the knife securely and can be carried comfortably on a belt. It is not only a practical accessory, but also reflects an appreciation for traditional craftsmanship and natural materials.
The Marttiini Lynx 121 is not a knife for the display case – it is made for nature, for adventure, and for people who find their home outdoors.

The Finnish knife maker Marttiini is known for its high-quality hunting and fishing knives. Founder Janne Marttiinni began producing handmade knives, scythes and axes in the rural village of Kierinki in northern Finland in 1902. In 1928, he opened his own forge in Rovaniemi, where he produced a wide range of sturdy and well-crafted knives. Demand quickly grew. In 1940, Marttiini built his first factory, which was partially destroyed in 1944 during the Second World War. After the war, the factory was rebuilt in the center of Rovaniemie. Today, the factory shop is located on the site and is called “Marttiini's Old Factory”. Due to the many different knife models and the constant growth, a new, modern production facility was built in 1972, where the knives are still manufactured today. More than 300 different models are still produced by hand using traditional methods and are constantly being improved. Outdoor enthusiasts, collectors, chefs and many other professional users appreciate the outstanding quality of Marttiini knives and always have them with them as a loyal companion.
