A 10 cm droppoint blade made from Swedish Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel is accompanied by a non-slip and very comfortable rubber grip. The chosen steel is ideal for outdoor use. Knives have been made in Mora, Sweden since the 17th century. Morakniv originated from two traditional knife smithies from the Mora area, namely KJ Eriksson (founded in 1912) and Frost (founded in 1819). The merger of the two knife manufacturers in 2005 created Morakniv.
