Product information "Schnitzmesser klein"

Clear vision. Steady hands. The moment is yours. The responsible Mora small carving knife was made for precisely these moments – when concentration, creativity, and control come together. When you carve, every cut counts. And when you work with this tool, you make a conscious decision: for precision, for craftsmanship, for attitude. Mora has earned its reputation for good reason!

This carving knife is not a showpiece for the display case, but a tool for people who shape things with their own hands. The tapered, 6.1 cm long blade made of high-quality carbon steel is precise, stable, and easy to resharpen. It allows for fine notch cuts as well as controlled work on hard fibers. With a thickness of 2.5 mm, it offers just the right amount of robustness without sacrificing the flexibility you need for real detail work.

The oiled birch wood handle sits comfortably and securely in your hand, whether you're carving outdoors around a campfire or filing away at a workpiece indoors. Its spindle-shaped ergonomics relieve strain on your fingers during long sessions and give you the feeling of becoming one with the material. The black plastic sheath protects the blade reliably – on the way to your next project or simply when stored in your backpack. Weighing only 50 g (68 g with sheath), the carving knife is barely noticeable – yet present in every detail, in every decision you make.

The Mora small carving knife is at your side when you want to turn a piece of wood into something more than just a shape. It accompanies you – not as a helper, but as silent proof of your courage to take responsibility and create something that will last.

Morakniv knife from Sweden. Made in Östnor for outdoor, hunting and survival use. There is hardly a Swedish craftsman who can be found at work without his Mora knife!
Knives have been made in Mora, Sweden since the 17th century. Morakniv originated from two traditional knife smithies from the Mora area, namely KJ Eriksson (founded in 1912) and Frost (founded in 1819). The merger of the two knife manufacturers in 2005 created Morakniv. In accordance with the company's philosophy since 1912, Morakniv has made it its mission to produce high-quality utility knives that make work easier, are simple to use and are designed according to ergonomic criteria.
