The SOG Recondo FX Black Straight Edge harks back to military origins. Reconnaissance and Commando (Recondo) are hidden in the name. It is a special training that one must complete in order to lead smaller reconnaissance troops in the US military. The blade of the Recondo FX meets all requirements. Made of 440C steel and a smooth grind, it cuts very cleanly and precisely. There are jimpings on the back of the blade to increase grip and safety. The rubberised handle fits comfortably in the hand and has a unique feel. No matter what the weather conditions, the knife will not slip out of your hand. In addition, the scope of delivery includes a precisely fitting Kydex sheath that can be attached to your equipment. In short: A great, tactical and fixed knife!
