Wildsteer Kodiak - versatile survival knife, 13 cm long 14C28N blade with hook, bottle opener, hammer, hex key, handle made of micarta, blade thickness of 4 mm, nylon sheath
Simple, rugged and comfortable! The Kodiak is the result of several field tests of two passionate survival fans. The 14C28N wide tip blade features a small hook to remove a drinking cup or pot from the fire. The full tang design provides tremendous stability and security as the large blade serves as a parry element. On the sticking out tang is an integrated bottle opener/ herring puller, a small striking element and a hex key to which a lanyard can also be attached. The black micarta handle provides a very grippy and non-slip base. Thanks to its shape, the feel of the knife is very pleasant. The Kodiak comes with a black nylon sheath that can be worn vertically or horizontally.The removable strap allows you to quickly change the function of the knife and use its protruding tang as a hammer. Wildsteer designed with the Kodiak a knife with which you are prepared for all situations, which you master with bravado and look good at the same time.

Das Werkzeug sollte Pfeile ziehen, Schnitzen, in Holz ritzen, Ausästen und Entgraten können. Somit war das erste Wildsteer geboren und zudem eine Unternehmensgeschichte, die ihren Ursprung im Jahr 2004 findet. Nach etlichen Feldversuchen wurde das Wildsteer für den Jagd-und Outdoorbereich in Sachen Stabilität, Schnittgüte und Handlichkeit für Mann und Frau perfektioniert. Auch seine Frau, Danielle de Buyer, ist seit einiger Zeit ebenfalls im Betrieb tätig und unterstützt mit ihrer Ingenieurs-Expertise. Neben dem Pfeilzieher weist Wildsteer noch einige patentgeschützte Erfindungen wie den WX-Lock oder die Beißzange auf. Das junge Unternehmen hat sich sowohl auf dem europäischen als auch auf dem amerikanischen Markt einen Namen gemacht und begeistert mit auffälligen Designs und praktischen Funktionen. Gefertigt werden alle Messer von Wildsteer direkt in Frankreich.
