The Amare Knives Paragon G10 Stonewashed is an innovative pocket knife that stands out with its patented A-joint locking mechanism. It does not fall under the 42a paragraph of the German weapons law and can therefore be carried freely. The mechanism, which is shaped like a V, sits in the front handle and is only visible after the knife has been disassembled. A great advantage of this mechanism is that it is completely concealed in the handle and thus no dust or dirt can get into the locking mechanism. The blade of the Paragon is made of high-quality N690 steel and is easy to open thanks to the narrow nail pick on the back. The handle is made of steel and G10 and the overall length of the knife is 19.3cm, the blade length 8.2cm, the blade thickness 3.2mm. The convertible deep-carry clip completes the design.
The Paragon was developed by German knife producer Ulrich Hennicke and manufactured by Real Steel Knives. It complies with European knife laws and thanks to the slipjoint mechanism it can be carried legally in many places.

Amare Knives is a young brand founded by renowned German damask blacksmith and knife designer Ulrich Hennicke. With a passion for handmade blades and unusual knife design since 1995, when he learned the basic skills of blacksmithing from the renowned artisan blacksmith Hermann Gradinger, Hennicke founded Hohenmoorer Messermanufaktur in 2012. This company focuses on the production of high-quality, high-precision and handmade chef's knives made of mono steel, triple-layer steel and Damascus steel.
After several design collaborations with well-known knife manufacturers such as Spyderco, Böker, Kizer, Otter, WE Knives and Realsteel, Hennicke met Weixiang Meng, who owns a knife manufacturing company in China. Both shared a great passion for knives and timeless design as well as the desire to realise this passion. Amare Knives was founded.
For Amare Knives, pocket knives are more than just tools; they are companions and helpers in everyday life, supporters in the forest and in the field, enablers of great adventures with loved ones and always testaments to great design. Amare Knives' motto, "Your best friend in everyday life and companion for life. We create knives that connect", reflects the company's philosophy of producing high quality knives that are not only useful but also build a personal connection with their users.
Hennicke's creative and innovative ideas have made Amare Knives a household name in the knife world and the motto "There is space outside the box" perfectly expresses that the company is always ready to push the boundaries of knife design and functionality.
