Boker 1969 Mach-1 Damascus - Your statement for power and elegance
You couldn't make a more beautiful homage to a car, in this case a Ford Mustang! This legendary Ford Mustang Mach-1 from 1969 is a true work of art, and so is this pocket knife. The magnificent 1969 Mach-1 Damascus from Boker is a masterpiece and combines powerful function, high-quality materials and a breathtaking look. The renowned knife designer Tommaso Rumici has created a masterpiece here by transferring the essence of the muscle car into a handy pocket format. You can almost feel the V8 engine, and even hear it if you are very quiet.
The knife is equipped with an 8.2 cm drop point blade that is as special as the Mustang itself. Hand-forged from a composite of parts from a Ford Mustang, such as the wheel hub, control arm and suspension, a steel with a fascinating wave pool pattern was produced by master Damascus forger Chad Nichols. This pattern represents burnt-in tire marks on the asphalt after performing a circular donut drift and perfectly captures the powerful history of the Mustang Mach-1.
The high-strength aluminum handle was designed with attention to detail, inspired by the distinctive fenders of the muscle car. The silver jade coloring, paired with gold-colored inlays, not only gives the knife a stylish look, but also underlines the elegance of the design.
The opening of the blade is effortless thanks to a removable thumb stud, and with the reliable linerlock, the blade remains securely in position. Removing the thumb stud converts this folder from a one-handed to a two-handed knife. Every detail of this masterpiece has been designed with the utmost precision and care, and maybe there was even a little horsepower involved.
Handcrafted in the German knife city of Solingen, the fantastic 1969 Mach-1 Damascus not only carries on the history of the legendary muscle car, but also sets new standards for pocket knives.
If the Ford Mustang Mach-1 could hold its own against its high-powered competitors like Dodge, Pontiac and Chevrolet, what do you think this 1969 Mach-1 Damascus knife can do? So, take your foot off the brake and step on the gas to make this great knife yours.
