Product information "Tirpitz Damast Wood"

The Tirpitz Damast Wood from the house of Böker in Solingen has a powerful blade whose damascus steel is made from the armor of the legendary battleship Tirpitz. This steel was recovered from the fjord by Norwegian divers for Böker. The smith forged a 300-layer damascus in the " Big Pyramid " pattern from this steel in combination with carbon tool steels. The Damascus is extremely durable and with a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC is up to any task in everyday use. The blade is locked by a 1.5 mm linerlock, the blade is opened with the thumb pin, which can also be removed. On the back of the walnut handle is also a clip (tip-up). This particularly noble knife is delivered in a high-quality, transparent frame box and with certificate and serial number.
