The finger recesses are perfect. Pommel and toggle are extremely sturdy and give safety when working with the knife. At the end of the handle you can attach a lanyard to secure the knife against falling down. The flat ground blade is forged from 440-C steel. The knife comes with a high quality leather sheath.
