The BUCK Knives Brahma Cocobolo is a versatile hunting and outdoor knife based on the proven tradition of BUCK's early fixed-blade knives. Often referred to as the “Mini 119 Special”, it combines classic design with modern functionality. The clip-point blade made of proven 420HC steel measures 11.4 cm and is ideal for precise work with the tip as well as for robust applications with the bulbous part of the cutting edge. Each steel undergoes a careful heat treatment process and passes an extensive quality inspection to ensure reliable performance.
The handle made of fine cocobolo wood gives the knife a warm, natural aesthetic and also ensures a secure grip. Traditional elements such as the guard and pommel emphasize the classic character of the Brahma. The knife comes with a black leather sheath with a handy belt loop – ideal for safe transportation in the field. While the knife is proudly made in the USA, the leather sheath comes from abroad. The Brahma Cocobolo stands for long-lasting quality, timeless design and the reliability for which BUCK knives have been known for generations.

It all began with a young, enthusiastic blacksmith named Hoyt Buck, who was ahead of his time. He was looking for a way to extend the cutting life of steel. He sold his first knives, all handmade, in 1902, even taking worn, used blades as raw material. After the Second World War (1947), Hoyt and his son Al founded the company HH Buck & Sohn in San Diego. With the knife model 110 Folding Hunter and the Back-Lock, Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964. This blade safety system still holds a leading position until today. Hoyt's and Al Buck's ingenuity made the company famous worldwide.
