A rugged and versatile fixed blade knife designed by Geoff Blauvelt of Tuff Knives. Known for his "slightly different" blades, Blauvelt has created a large modified tanto blade shape with the Concept 22, which features a distinctive, bulbous second cutting bevel. The handle scales of the Concept 22 are made of durable G10, a strong yet lightweight material composed of synthetic resin and fiberglass that provides an outstanding grip, even in adverse conditions. With a blackwashed finish, the blade of the Concept 22 is not only well protected against scratches, but it also provides an additional layer of protection against corrosion. Made from D2 steel, a robust tool steel, the Concept 22's blade is also easy to resharpen, although it is not completely rustproof and requires regular maintenance.
