Das schmale Air Lite Tanto ist ein Alltagsmesser, das speziell als EDC-Messer entworfen wurde. Um mehr Platz in der Tasche für anderen Notwendigkeiten zu haben, wurde das Messer extrem dünn gehalten und misst nur eine Stärke von 8,8 mm von einer Griffschale zur anderen. Die 8,9 cm lange Tantoklinge hat einen Hohlschliff, der für extrem gute Schneideigenschaften und Schärfe sorgt. Als Klingenmaterial nimmt der Hersteller den japanischen AUS 10A Edelstahl, der mit seiner hohen Schnitthaltigkeit und Zähigkeit überzeugt. Desweiteren lässt er sich leicht nachschärfen und benötigt kaum Pflege. Der eigens von Cold Steel entwickelte Tri-Ad-Lock sichert nach dem Öffnen die Klinge und verhindert ein ungewolltes Einklappen. Die Griffschalen bestehen aus widerstandsfähigem G10, das wegen der rauen Oberfläche angenehm und sicher in der Hand liegt. Der integrierte Taschenclip eröffnet die Möglichkeit, das Air Lite Tanto dezent in der Tasche zu tragen.
