Cold Steels Emperor-Serie war ein totaler Erfolg. So lag der Gedanke an erschwinglicheren Modellen für die Fans von Cold Steel und Samuraischwertern nicht fern. Bestehend aus Hochleistungsstahl 1060 ist die Härtung und Schärfe der Klinge identisch zu der Emperor-Serie. Bei den Warrior-Schwertern jedoch wurde auf die Hochglanzpolierung verzichtet und stattdessen werden sie mit einem zweckmäßigen Finish versehen. Es eignet sich besser zum Trainieren und um Schnitttests (Tameshigiri) durchzuführen. Die Klinge ist dadurch während des Einsatzes resistenter und langlebiger. Das Warrior O Tanto kommt mit einer 33,7 cm langen Tantoklinge. Der Griff kommt mit schwarzer Seidenkordelwicklung, Rochenhaut und Menuki aus Messing. Zum Schutz vor Schmutz wird die Klinge mit einer schwarzen Holzscheide geliefert. Das Warrior-Schwert steht als Trainingsschwert ausgesprochen gut und zuverlässig da.
