M16-10DZ Desert Tan

The renowned M16 series has now produced the versatile CRKT M16-10DZ Desert Tan. It impresses with its robust design and high functionality at first touch. With its sand-brown “tan” finish and the tactical orientation typical of this series, the M16-10DZ offers a perfect blend of tacticool looks and practicality. Developed by respected knifemaker Kit Carson, this model relies on durable materials and sophisticated engineering to ensure outstanding everyday performance. The 7.9 cm Tanto blade is made of high-quality D2 steel, a material known for its outstanding hardness and wear resistance. With a blade thickness of 2 mm, the M16-10DZ offers a fine balance between precision and robustness. The sharply serrated Veff Serrations on the Ricasso enable effortless cuts through ropes, fabrics and other fibrous materials. Thanks to the Tanto profile, the tip remains particularly resistant and is ideal for penetrating cuts.

The operation of the knife is optimized by the Carson Flipper and the integrated IKBS ball bearing system, which allows the blade to open quickly and smoothly. A linerlock with additional locking mechanism ensures maximum safety and stability during use. All this makes the knife reliable and safe not only for everyday tasks, but also for tougher applications. The glass fiber reinforced nylon (GRN) material of the handle scales provides a non-slip surface that ensures a secure grip in various environments, including damp or sandy conditions. Weighing only 65 g, the CRKT M16-10DZ Desert Tan is also extremely lightweight and can be carried comfortably and discreetly thanks to the integrated tip-down clip.
