- Order number: IZUDE
The ESEE Izula Dark Earth is a robust and compact fixed-blade knife that takes its name from an aggressive ant found in the Peruvian jungle. Despite its small size, this knife is not to be underestimated, as it impresses with versatility and reliability. The knife is made of 1095HC steel, a proven carbon steel known for its sharpness and durability. The earth brown powder coating of the blade protects against corrosion and gives the knife a tactical, inconspicuous look.
With a total length of 15.7 cm and a 6.7 cm drop-point blade, the Izula Dark Earth is ideal for everyday use, whether camping, hiking or for survival. The 4 mm thick blade spine provides additional stability, while the handle length of 8.5 cm offers an optimal grip. The large lanyard hole allows paracord to be wrapped around it to improve grip, increasing comfort and control.
The ESEE Izula Dark Earth comes with a robust plastic sheath that makes it safe and easy to carry, whether as a neck knife or attached to a belt. With its minimalist design and practical handling, this knife is a reliable companion for any outdoor challenge.

In 1997, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin set out to combat the over-hyped and heavily exploited survival scene by opening their own survival school, which would again offer hands-on, self-tested survival training. Working with the Peruvian Air Force's "Escuela De Supervivencia En La Selva" (School of Survival in the Jungle), they quickly rose to the top of the most popular survival schools. However, they soon realised that most of the tools advertised as survival knives were hardly up to the standards of professionals. As a result, some time later they started to develop and produce knives according to their own ideas. That was the beginning of ESEE KNIVES. The practical companions quickly became known throughout the outdoor scene and inspire survival professionals all over the world.
