The Resolza 12 from Extrema Ratio is one of the most famous traditional knives in Italy today. The name of this knife has ancient roots and is reminiscent of a large razor. This type of pocket knife was first made in Sardinia centuries ago. The Resolza was a knife for daily use for the island's rural workers, farmers and shepherds. During the First World War it was part of the equipment of the Sassari Brigades. In memory and full respect of the renowned Sardinian craftsmen, Extrema Ratio has produced the Resolza according to today's standards and added a liner lock blade safety to the original version. The dimensions and proportions are the same as the original. The handle was modified to match the Extrema style. The materials were adapted to today's technology. So the 12 cm blade is made of Böhler N690 steel and the handle is made of aluminum. Depending on the model, you can get the Resolza with a stone-washed blade or with a black coated blade.
