The very wide and 4.8 mm thick plugl goes through the entire handle, making the tool easily take even the strongest loads. Thermorun is used as the handle material, as it lies securely in the hand in all imaginable environmental influences and always remains grippy. The Cytel sheath has an additional lock function, which makes it impossible to lose the knife. Thus, the R2 Scout can hang without hesitation on the belt until it is needed.
