The Hogue Deka 3.25’ WC G-Mascus Dark Earth is the perfect symbiosis of modern technology and timeless elegance. Designed by renowned designer Allen Elishewitz, this pocket knife combines functionality, style and precision, making it an indispensable everyday companion. Harmony, order and perfection have always been associated with the number ten (Greek: Deka). The Hogue Deka takes this concept and translates it into a pocket knife that can be used equally well by both right- and left-handed people. The name ‘Deka’ also refers to the Latin meaning ‘decem - two hands’ and reflects the versatility and manageability of this tool.
The black Wharncliffe blade made of state-of-the-art CPM-20CV steel is the centrepiece of the knife. This powder metallurgy steel impresses with its exceptional edge retention, corrosion resistance and robustness. With a blade length of 8.3 cm and a thickness of 2.4 mm, the blade offers the perfect combination of precision and stability. The thumb stud on both sides allows for effortless manual opening, while the ambidextrous ABLE-Lock (Ambidextrous Bar Lock Enhanced) with slide control locks the blade securely, guaranteeing reliable and safe operation.
The handle made of sand-coloured G10 is not only visually appealing, but also functionally well thought out. The textured snake pattern ensures an excellent grip, even in adverse conditions. G10 as a material offers an ideal combination of lightness and robustness, which makes the knife, with a total weight of only 130 g, comfortable to hold without sacrificing stability.
With a total length of 19.1 cm, the Deka is compact enough to carry comfortably in everyday life, yet large enough for demanding tasks. The reversible clip (tip-up) allows for flexible attachment, while the integrated lanyard hole offers additional security and functionality.
Whether in urban everyday life or on outdoor adventures – the Hogue Deka 3.25’ WC G-Mascus Dark Earth is a modern classic that impresses with its precision, durability and aesthetics. This knife stands for innovation and perfection in every situation.
