FOX Karambit Knives

Karambit - the unusual knives with the typical curved blade shape (sickle blade). Historians are not entirely in agreement: the type of knife was discovered in Indonesia. However, some believe that the origin of the karambit lies in Malaysia or the Philippines. The karambit has been used as a working knife since the 16th century. It was introduced to the United States in the 18th and 19th centuries. It was not until 1970 that it found its way to Europe. Today it is found among collectors and is also used as a combat and utility knife.
