Taylor's Eye Witness is a long-standing family business that has been producing high quality kitchen knives, scissors, cutlery and pocket knives in Sheffield since 1838. The unusual name comes from the company's founder, he introduced the trademark "Eyes Witness". The godfather of this name is said to be a quotation from Shakespeare, which has been modified as "no eye hath seen better". Today, Taylor's Eye Witness still manufactures the knives in the already memorialised building in Sheffield.
