A masterpiece emerges from the depths of Finnish craftsmanship: the magnificent Marttiini Kotka Damascus collector's knife – a fixed blade knife that combines strength, elegance, and tradition. “Kotka” means “eagle” in Finnish, and like its namesake, this knife embodies dignity, sharpness, and grandeur.
With a total length of 22.5 cm and a 10 cm blade made of fine 120-layer Damascus steel, this knife impresses not only with its technical finesse, but also with its exceptionally artistic appearance. The damask pattern, carefully forged, reflects the depth of Finnish nature – wild, beautiful, and everlasting. Each knife is unique, with an individual serial number and a unique pattern on the blade.
The ergonomically shaped handle is made of specially heat-treated curly birch – a typical material in the Finnish knife-making tradition. Its distinctive grain makes each knife unique. The bronze-cast toggle and the stylized bird's head at the end of the handle complete the elegant appearance with fine, artistic details.
As a genuine Marttiini collector's knife, the Kotka Damascus comes in a high-quality wooden box with a certificate of authenticity and a black leather sheath with a piercing guard. This knife not only stands for the highest quality, but also for a deep connection to the land, history, and soul of Finland – genuine craftsmanship from Marttiini Finland.
A knife for connoisseurs, collectors, and anyone who wants to hold a piece of Nordic elegance in their hands.

The Finnish knife maker Marttiini is known for its high-quality hunting and fishing knives. Founder Janne Marttiinni began producing handmade knives, scythes and axes in the rural village of Kierinki in northern Finland in 1902. In 1928, he opened his own forge in Rovaniemi, where he produced a wide range of sturdy and well-crafted knives. Demand quickly grew. In 1940, Marttiini built his first factory, which was partially destroyed in 1944 during the Second World War. After the war, the factory was rebuilt in the center of Rovaniemie. Today, the factory shop is located on the site and is called “Marttiini's Old Factory”. Due to the many different knife models and the constant growth, a new, modern production facility was built in 1972, where the knives are still manufactured today. More than 300 different models are still produced by hand using traditional methods and are constantly being improved. Outdoor enthusiasts, collectors, chefs and many other professional users appreciate the outstanding quality of Marttiini knives and always have them with them as a loyal companion.
