The elegant Marttiini Wild Boar is a knife for connoisseurs, collectors, and lovers of Nordic craftsmanship—a symbol of strength, closeness to nature, and traditional blacksmithing from Marttiini Finland. With an impressive boar's head at the end of the handle, artfully cast in bronze, this knife is much more than just a tool: it is an expression of character and personality.
The 11 cm long, highly polished blade made of stainless steel stands for the proven quality for which Marttiini has been known for decades. Sharp, durable, and elegantly shaped, the blade is suitable for fine carving as well as for representative purposes. It forms the functional heart of this extraordinary Marttiini collector's knife.
The handle, made from carefully selected waxed burr birch, looks particularly elegant, with its individual grain making each piece unique. No two knives are alike – each tells its own story, shaped by the wild nature of Finland. The interplay of natural wood and detailed metal finishes creates a harmonious balance between robustness and sophistication.
The Marttiini Wild Boar comes in an elegant wooden gift box, together with a high-quality leather sheath that keeps the knife safe and stylishly presented. It is the perfect gift for hunters, nature lovers, and collectors – or a special piece for your own collection.
As the latest addition to the popular animal motif series, this Marttiini collector's knife once again underlines the love for the Finnish wilderness and masterful craftsmanship. Powerful, elegant, and timelessly beautiful – a real highlight from Marttiini Finland.

The Finnish knife maker Marttiini is known for its high-quality hunting and fishing knives. Founder Janne Marttiinni began producing handmade knives, scythes and axes in the rural village of Kierinki in northern Finland in 1902. In 1928, he opened his own forge in Rovaniemi, where he produced a wide range of sturdy and well-crafted knives. Demand quickly grew. In 1940, Marttiini built his first factory, which was partially destroyed in 1944 during the Second World War. After the war, the factory was rebuilt in the center of Rovaniemie. Today, the factory shop is located on the site and is called “Marttiini's Old Factory”. Due to the many different knife models and the constant growth, a new, modern production facility was built in 1972, where the knives are still manufactured today. More than 300 different models are still produced by hand using traditional methods and are constantly being improved. Outdoor enthusiasts, collectors, chefs and many other professional users appreciate the outstanding quality of Marttiini knives and always have them with them as a loyal companion.
