The handle is a real highlight: TC4 titanium scales meet impressively patterned carbon fiber in a shred look – a combination that not only looks great but also feels exceptionally good in the hand. It's clear that this knife wasn't just built, it was thought through. The precise workmanship ensures a smooth, almost seamless connection between the materials, making the Hoeft a real pleasure to hold.
At the heart of the knife is the 8.3 cm long drop point blade made of CPM-S35VN steel, a high-quality powder metallurgical steel valued for its sharpness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. It opens smoothly thanks to the double-sided thumb stud and is held in place by a secure button lock – a locking mechanism that is both intuitive and reliable.
With a total length of 19.6 cm and a well-designed tip-up clip (on the right), the Hoeft is not only a design statement, but also a thoroughly functional EDC knife.
