With the 24/7 Spring Assisted Clippoint, Smith & Wesson impressively demonstrate that size is definitely not everything! Despite its compact dimensions, this small EDC knife packs quite a punch. As a spring-loaded pocket knife, it is a semi-automatic knife and therefore belongs in the category of switchblade knives. However, the spring mechanism is not triggered by a button, but by a flipper.
The Smith & Wesson knife comes with a 4.8 cm long stainless steel blade. This is coated black for additional protection against corrosion and mounted on two nylon washers, which minimize friction between the liners and the blade tongue. This allows the folding knife to open at lightning speed. Both the blade and the clip feature the famous “Smith&Wesson” logo in white lettering.
The aforementioned pocket clip comes in a deep-carry style and makes the folder disappear in your pocket. The handle itself is made of black G10 plastic with an exciting texture. A red spacer and the red blade-axle screw ring provide a nice contrast to the overall black look and round off the chic look perfectly. A liner lock provides the necessary safety at work.
