The Spyderco Essenza N690 Black Aluminum is a stylish folding knife that impresses with its clean lines, high-quality materials, and well-thought-out functionality. Developed based on the CHNOPS by Riccardo Gobbato (Raven Knives Design), the Essenza combines Italian craftsmanship with Spyderco's innovative standards.
The ergonomically shaped handle made of anodized aluminum fits comfortably in the hand and impresses with its delicate workmanship and modern design. Inside, stainless steel liners ensure stability and enable a reliable LinerLock closure that securely locks the blade in place. The inside of the handle is hollowed out to reduce weight, making the knife pleasantly light at only 94 grams. The flat-ground blade with a length of 8.1 cm is made of N690Co, a high-performance stainless steel from Böhler, which is known for its excellent edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The satin finish and elegantly rounded blade back underline the high quality of workmanship and offer additional comfort during use.
