Es war vorher schon leicht, aber mit dieser Auflage hat man noch einmal gut 50 g eingespart. Der FRN-Griff hat hieran den größten Anteil, seine bidirektionale Struktur gewährleistet seit vielen Jahren die Erfüllung aller Anprüche an Griffigkeit und Handlage. Das Para 3 Lightweight verfügt zudem über einen Deep-Carry-Clip, der ebenfalls das Gewicht reduziert und immer für den richtigen Halt sorgt. Diese Einsparungen in Kombination mit dem offenen Griffrücken sorgen für die enorme Gewichtsersparnis. Wie bei den anderen Versionen des Para 3 verriegelt auch das Lightweight per Compression-Lock. Die Klinge wird bei dieser Version aus stickstofflegiertem CTS-BD1N gefertigt und hat eine Länge von 7,4 cm.
