The TAKUMITAK Day 500 Black is an extremely robust and versatile knife designed for tough use. The knife has a thick, 4.87 mm CNC-machined full-tang blade made of D2 steel with a flat grind and Sheepsfoot shape that is somewhat reminiscent of the classic Nessmuk blade shape. The handle is CNC-machined with G10 grip scales and the knife is safely stowed in a snug-fitting Kydex sheath. The G10 handle is lightweight yet very durable and provides a secure grip even in oily and wet conditions.
The blade is professionally heat-treated to achieve a perfect balance between hardness and toughness, resulting in increased durability and performance of the knife.
