Founded by the French engineer and amateur blacksmith Edouard de Buyer, the Wildsteer knife was originally intended to assist him in his hobby of archery. The tool was intended to be able to draw arrows, carve, carve into wood, saw out and deburr. Thus, the first Wildsteer was born and a company history that began in 2004. After several field tests, the Wildsteer was perfected for the hunting and outdoor sector in terms of stability, cutting quality and ease of use for men and women. His wife, Danielle de Buyer, has also been working in the company for some time and supports him with her engineering expertise. In addition to the arrow puller, Wildsteer also has a number of patented inventions such as the WX-Lock and the bite pliers. The young company has made a name for itself on both the European and American markets and impresses with eye-catching designs and practical functions. All Wildsteer knives are manufactured directly in France.
