Designer Charles de Buyer is a French knifemaker known for his simple designs. He focuses on the essentials while delivering great utility. The Gekai is a perfect example of this. The fixed all-steel knife features many exciting details. For example, there are jimpings on the back of the edge-holding D2 blade that aid in handling. The ricasso and blade piercing give the knife its decorative accents. A low-profile design allows for discreet carry in everyday life. The two large recesses at the end of the handle serve to reduce weight and can be used as a lanyard loop. The Böker Plus Gekai is supplied with a precisely fitting Kydex sheath and a belt adapter.
