The tiny fixed knife is really very small in overall length of 12.5 cm. The shape is roughly equivalent to an actual scalpel knife. Both the handle and the blade are made of D2 tool steel. The blade length is about 4.2 cm, which makes it most likely to be used for smaller cutting jobs like opening letters and packages.
