In contrast to other knife models where the name seems questionable or randomly selected, the designation "Scalpel" for the Böker Plus knife 02BO072 Scalpel absolutely fits. The tiny fixed knife is really very small in overall length of 12.5 cm. The shape is roughly equivalent to an actual scalpel knife. Both the handle and the blade are made of D2 tool steel. The blade length is about 4.2 cm, which makes it most likely to be used for smaller cutting jobs like opening letters and packages. Typical for a neck knife, a Kydex sheath including ball chain is also included. The design is by Alexander Krava.
