Bronco

The aim was to develop a knife that is suitable for all outdoor users, has high-quality steel and handle and comes at a reasonable price. Designed for bushcrafters, campcrafters, survivalists, cross-country hikers, hunters, SAR teams and others. 

The Böker Bronco is 100% made in Solingen/Germany. The CPM-3V steel used was purchased from the worldwide market leader "Crucible Industries LLC". Hardened to 62-63 HRC, it provides the perfect basis for this knife. Its fabulous edge retention, shock load resistance, fracture resilience and shatter resistance are what a knife in the outdoor sector needs. The drop point blade is ground in a high set Saber grind, which is preferred for hunting knives. However, it is suitable for fine tasks as well as coarse ones. From stick cutting to batoning to hunting, any task is possible. At the end of the handle, the tang of the knife protrudes a few millimetres, providing maximum stability to withstand heavy blows. 

Need a light? No problem! Sparking is possible with the back of the blade and the firestarter, because a short part of the back forms a sharp 90° edge on both sides. So you can easily use the fire starter to start a fire. For the handle Böker decided to use thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). They are resistant, non-slip, elastic and keep your hands warm due to their low thermal conductivity. The handle is well suited for all weather conditions. In addition, TPE is purely physically manufactured and does not require a lot of energy to vulcanise, making it more environmentally friendly than other elastomers. The high-quality and versatile Böker Bronco comes with a quiver leather sheath. The tight fit ensures that you cannot lose the knife, but can still draw and use it quickly. The sheath can be worn in different ways with the removable dangler. Of course, the fire starter also finds its place in the sheath, making the Bronco really suitable for any outdoor activity.
