The Cold Steel Dragonfly Katana is a modern yet traditional Japanese katana. Cold Steel has designed the Dragonfly series of Japanese swords specifically for modern fighters of larger stature. These beautiful swords have thicker and heavier 1060 carbon steel blades that are hand polished and end in a long, leaf-shaped tip. The Cold Steel Dragonfly Katana has an overall length of approx. 103.5 cm with a blade length of approx. 74.3 cm and a blade thickness of approx. 8 mm. The handle is 29.2 cm long and is wrapped in a striking aquamarine silk cord, which gives the sword a special aesthetic and a touch of elegance. Noble brass menuki adorn the hilt and add additional accents. The weight of the sword is approx. 1117 g, which is a perfect balance between handiness and strength.
