Mit der Camping Axe von Condor liefert der lateinamerikanische Hersteller eine überaus robuste Spaltaxt, mit der sich Holz blitzschnell zerteilen lässt. Der 1060 HCS Axtkopf macht mit sämtlichen Holzscheiten kurzen Prozess und ist ziemlich widerstandsfähig. Der Schaft besteht aus stabilem, amerikanischem Hickoryholz und macht optisch einiges her. An der Wange des Axtkopfes geht die schwarze Beschichtung in die silberfarbene Schneide über. Als Zubehör gibt es noch eine Lederscheide dazu.

The history of Condor Tool & Knife goes back to 1787, when the Weyersberg brothers founded a company in Solingen to manufacture swords, military knives, cutlery and agricultural tools. Then, in 1964, the company IMACASA was founded in Santa Ana in El Salvador and the factory was well equipped with the most modern German tools and the employees were sent to Solingen for intensive training. Today, this factory produces machetes, axes, shovels and other hand tools of the highest quality. IMACASA was sold to local investors in 1980 and is now one of the largest machete and shovel manufacturers in the world. Then, in 2004, when additional knives and tools were developed for the North American and European markets, Condor Tool & Knife was born.
