Beim CRKT Cinco ließ sich Richard Rodgers vom Bereich der taktischen Messer inspirieren und verknüpfte das meist in Schwarz/Oliv gehaltende Äußere mit den Vorzügen eines modernen EDC-Messers. Im flachen und platzsparenden Design angelegt, lässt sich das Cinco problemlos in der Hosentasche verstauen, wobei der feste Pocket-Clip zusätzlich hilft. Mittels Flipper wird die 7,3 cm lange Klinge blitzschnell in Arbeitsposition gebracht, woraufhin es durch einen Framelock sicher gehalten wird. Wird dieser entriegelt, lässt sich die Klinge einfach in das Heft zurückklappen. Dieses besteht aus G10-Kunststoff und Edelstahl und liegt dank der feinen Texturierung optimal in der Hand. Eine großzügige Fangriemenöse am Griffende ergänzt die Ausstattung des EDC-Messers.
