You know how it is, the old chef's knives are anything but a joy to cook with, but you don't want to turn your whole household upside down for a few new stylish models. This is exactly where Kanetsune Seki offers an affordable and stylish solution! The KC-352 Kengata also joins the KC-510 series. With a handy handle made of brown lacquered plywood, the kitchen knife is comfortable to hold. The blade of the Japanese chef's knife is a full 18 cm long, making it an ideal replacement for the old chef's knife. The blade is made from 2 layers of SUS410 stainless steel, which surround a Takefu Shiro 2 steel core. This is referred to as laminated blade steel. This combines the advantages of several blade steels and ensures long-lasting sharpness.
Throw away the old knives, it's time for something new!

Named after a famous 14th-century blacksmith, Kanetsune has been producing high-quality traditional knives since 1930. Starting with hunting knives, the company expanded its range in 1948 to include Japanese chef's knives, which enjoy great popularity worldwide. With the founding of Kitasho Co, Ltd, Kanetsune moved in a more modern direction. Knifemaker Kitasho has been the head of the company ever since and is largely responsible for the design. The quality of these knives, made in the Japanese blade city, is based on the combination of industrial production and masterly craftsmanship.
