Sandvik 12C27 was chosen as the steel for this traditional survival knife because it is highly resistant to corrosion and easy to sharpen. The latter also applies to the cutting edge, as it is ground in the Scandi style, which makes resharpening very easy. This knife will definitely not leave you alone in the dark forest.
