LUG Black Olive

The LUG pocket knife from the HY103 series comes from a small knife manufacturer in France. Cyril Ganivet and Stanislas Bayeul developed the knife, which with its black PVD-coated blade is a modern and at the same time classic pocket knife. Connoisseurs of the scene will immediately recognize the Spyderco silhouette. Equipped with a black-finish blade made of 7Cr17MoV steel, the opened knife comes to a total length of 19.6 cm and is thus a nice modern helper in everyday life. Opened by means of blade breakthrough, the slim aesthetic cutting edge is securely locked by liner lock and is well suited for both right-handed and left-handed users. The handle scales of the LUG pocket knife are made of olive wood and are precisely attached to the plates with a G-10 pad. Due to the ergometry of the olive wood scales, the knife sits securely and very comfortably in the hand when working. The beveled end of the handle and the backspacer with guilloche decoration perfectly match the overall design of the knife.

Guilloche ornament

Guilloche is a special pattern, an ornament made of several intertwined and overlapping lines. The individual lines form cord-like, often asymmetrical, closed ellipses or circular paths. This type of ornamentation is found on securities or for decoration on metal, ivory and wood.
