Product information "Filetiermesser Classic 10"

When a small catch turns into a big taste experience, you need the right tool – the Marttiini Classic 10 filleting knife is made for just that. With its 10 cm long, flexible stainless steel blade, this knife is the ideal partner for precisely filleting smaller fish such as perch, trout, or mackerel. The blade is thin, sharp, and extremely flexible – perfect for cleanly separating even delicate fillets from skin and bones.

The handle is made of light, grained birch wood, fits comfortably in the hand, and has been coated with a durable varnish to protect it from moisture. Even with wet hands, you always have full control over your tool – whether you're out on the water or processing your catch in the kitchen. With a total length of only 20 cm, this Marttiini fish knife is compact, handy, and particularly easy to handle – perfect for anglers who value precision and efficiency.

Made with love and experience in Finland, this Marttiini filleting knife embodies the long tradition of Nordic knife craftsmanship: solid quality, functional design, and a look that fits in with any fishing equipment. The knife comes with a leather sheath that protects it and allows for stylish transport.

Whether as a faithful companion on your next fishing trip or as a high-quality tool in the kitchen, this Marttiini fishing knife impresses with its compactness, functionality, and unbeatable value for money. A real must-have for anyone who loves small fish—and wants to turn them into big moments.

Supplier "Marttiini"

The Finnish knife maker Marttiini is known for its high-quality hunting and fishing knives. Founder Janne Marttiinni began producing handmade knives, scythes and axes in the rural village of Kierinki in northern Finland in 1902. In 1928, he opened his own forge in Rovaniemi, where he produced a wide range of sturdy and well-crafted knives. Demand quickly grew. In 1940, Marttiini built his first factory, which was partially destroyed in 1944 during the Second World War. After the war, the factory was rebuilt in the center of Rovaniemie. Today, the factory shop is located on the site and is called “Marttiini's Old Factory”. Due to the many different knife models and the constant growth, a new, modern production facility was built in 1972, where the knives are still manufactured today. More than 300 different models are still produced by hand using traditional methods and are constantly being improved. Outdoor enthusiasts, collectors, chefs and many other professional users appreciate the outstanding quality of Marttiini knives and always have them with them as a loyal companion.
