Let me tell you a little bit about how the practical M95 Ranger Puukko Kydex Mulitcam Tropic came to be. While working as a military observer in Lebanon, Juha-Pekka Peltonen falls into the hands of an American military knife. The weight, handling and balance of the knife are in a class of their own and leave a deep impression on Mr. Peltonen. The idea of a knife with similar characteristics but suitable for northern conditions continued to smolder in his mind and so, as you can see, the story of Peltonen Knives began with success.

The Blade
The blade of the M95 Ranger Puukko is 15 cm long and features a slim blade shape with a drop point design. This design allows for precise control and excellent cutting performance in and on wood. The scandi grind of the blade provides excellent performance and precision in carving and woodworking.

The blade is made of differentially hardened 80CRV2 carbon steel. This special hardening technique optimally combines flexibility and cutting performance. The blade retains its sharpness over long periods of time and is easy to resharpen when needed. It is extremely durable and reliable in various outdoor situations.The blade of the M95 Ranger Puukko is available in different variants:

- PTFE coating: the standard blade has a PTFE coating, also known as Teflon. This coating protects the blade from corrosion and reduces friction, which means that less dirt sticks to it. It also meets food safety standards.

The Handle
