As if orange is only worn by garbage collectors, that's not true at all! I think it suits The Carter Orange even better. A knife that even the Dutch would make it a symbol of their country! So cool that even ice cubes melt with envy! But now, enough bragging about this Hammer EDC knife, let's take a closer look.
The 7 cm long Drop Point blade is not only extremely cutting, it also runs like butter thanks to the phosphor-bronze washer. To get the blade in position, a little push on the thumb lifter is all it takes and it's ready to stand by your side. G10 was used for the orange handles, which not only look good, they also feel great in the hand. And what can I say about the safety, the slide lock locking system speaks for itself.
So, now let's summarize my enthusiasm for The Carter Orange a bit. It's not a garbage disposal, it could be a Dutch icon, it's cooler than any ice cube, it's safer than the FBI, and at 85 grams it's lighter than a unicorn on a diet. Can you tell I think the Carter is great? But I also think the other colors are really great, check them out, but don't fall in love.
