The White River Knife & Tool Ursus 45 Natural Micarta is a first-class outdoor and bushcraft knife that impresses with its classic design and high-quality workmanship. It is manufactured directly on the White River in the Manistee National Forest, Michigan, USA – the home of the family-run company White River Knife & Tool. The brand consistently uses materials from the USA, with the exception of exotic raw materials such as cork, which are not produced there.
The 11.4 cm long blade is made of powder metallurgical S35VN steel with a hardness of 60 HRC. This steel offers excellent edge retention and long-lasting sharpness, making the knife ideal for tough outdoor use. With a blade thickness of 3.6 mm, it remains stable and resilient – perfect for all bushcraft tasks. The Ursus 45 also proves to be a reliable companion for hunting.
The total length of the knife is 24.1 cm, while the pure knife weight is 232 grams. The ergonomic handle made of Natural Burlap Micarta lies comfortably in the hand and ensures safe handling, even under demanding conditions. The handle scales are attached to the full tang with three Torx screws, which guarantees additional stability.
