Das 112 Slim Pro TRX von BUCK wurde vom ursprünglichen 112 Ranger beeinflusst und hat ein neues, verbessertes Design. Das TRX-Modell verfügt über Torx-Schrauben anstelle der Standard-Nieten und hat einen neu gestalteten, tief sitzenden Taschenclip, der zum Transport genial ist. Die 7,5 cm lange Clip-Point-Klinge besteht aus rostfreiem Premiumstahl S30 V und lässt sich mit dem beidseitigen Daumenlifter beidseitig leicht öffnen. Die Klingenarretierung wird durch die Rückenfeder realisiert (Lock-Back). Die modernen Griffschalen aus G10 geben genug Grip beim Arbeiten mit dem robusten Messer, made in USA.
Dieser fortschrittliche Stahl, S30V, enthält neben Kohlenstoff auch hohe Mengen an Chrom, Molybdän und Vanadium. Dieser Stahl bietet eine fantastische Schnitthaltigkeit und hohe Duktilität bei gleichzeitiger Korrosionsbeständigkeit. Er ist doppelt angelassen und kann auf eine Rockwell-Härte von Rc 59,5-61 gehärtet werden
