The traditional Chai Dao is a popular chef's knife. As a cleaver, it processes fish, meat and all vegetables with just a few strokes. The Alpha Pear Chai Dao convinces here with an outstanding quality and a really fantastic handling. The hand forged X50CrMoV15 steel offers good edge retention, rust resistance and stability. Such a Güde knife is really something special. A Güde knife has to go through a total of 40 manual operations, which include forging, ice-hardening and grinding, until it reaches the desired quality. To make the handle as comfortable as possible, it is equipped with fine handle scales made of domestic pear wood. These feature a beautiful grain and feel secure even with wet hands.
All wood-trimmed Alpha models should not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
