The Marttiini Superflex 15 filleting knife is a high-quality filleting knife for fish, specially designed for fine cutting work in the kitchen and when fishing. Its flexible and rustproof stainless steel Superflex blade allows for particularly precise work along bones and fish bones. The blade measures 15.3 centimeters and, with a chromium content of 13 percent and a hardness of 53 to 54 HRC, offers the ideal combination of cutting performance, flexibility, and easy resharpening.
The handle is made of heat-treated birch wood, which not only looks attractive but also ensures a secure grip in wet conditions thanks to its texture. This means that the Marttiini knife always lies comfortably and securely in the hand – an important feature when filleting fresh fish or making fine cuts in the kitchen. The knife comes with a classic brown leather sheath that protects the filleting knife and allows for safe transport. Made in Finland, this Marttiini fishing knife stands for high quality, decades of experience, and genuine craftsmanship.

The Finnish knife maker Marttiini is known for its high-quality hunting and fishing knives. Founder Janne Marttiinni began producing handmade knives, scythes and axes in the rural village of Kierinki in northern Finland in 1902. In 1928, he opened his own forge in Rovaniemi, where he produced a wide range of sturdy and well-crafted knives. Demand quickly grew. In 1940, Marttiini built his first factory, which was partially destroyed in 1944 during the Second World War. After the war, the factory was rebuilt in the center of Rovaniemie. Today, the factory shop is located on the site and is called “Marttiini's Old Factory”. Due to the many different knife models and the constant growth, a new, modern production facility was built in 1972, where the knives are still manufactured today. More than 300 different models are still produced by hand using traditional methods and are constantly being improved. Outdoor enthusiasts, collectors, chefs and many other professional users appreciate the outstanding quality of Marttiini knives and always have them with them as a loyal companion.
