With the Midgards Messer Parachete Olive, Midgards Messer presents the next stage in the development of its extraordinary folding machete – powerful, functional and clearly designed for tough everyday outdoor use. Developed by Jörg Sprave and produced by Blackfox, it combines a solid construction with a legally secure folding mechanism that can be easily carried in everyday life.

The 26.5 cm long blade is made of rust-free D2 steel with a full blade thickness of 5 mm. Combined with a weight of around 780 g, the result is a tool that delivers impressive performance when it comes to powerful strokes, rough cuts or working in the field. Whether splitting wood, clearing brush or preparing the campsite, the Parachete doesn't do things by halves.

The 20 cm long handle with contoured G10 scales in muted olive is non-slip and secure in the hand. The grippy surface ensures control even in wet or dirty conditions – perfect for survival, bushcraft and gardening. The slightly knob-like handle end improves the leverage during powerful movements. Technically, the Parachete impresses with a robust backlock locking mechanism that not only locks the blade in the open position but also when it is closed. This makes it impossible to open with one hand – a crucial point why this knife, despite its size and performance, can be carried legally in Germany in accordance with §42a of the German Weapons Act (WaffG).

A practical detail for transportation is the foldable plastic extension that serves as a blade guard and can be stored in the handle to save space.
