Aus stabilem D2 gefertigt, schneidet sich die Wharncliffe-Klinge durch die Hindernisse des Alltags hindurch. Über einen Daumenpin lässt sich diese mit einer Hand aus dem Heft heben. In Arbeitsposition wird sie dann durch den Liner-Lock gehalten. Durch die Daumenauflage auf dem Klingenrücken lässt es sich präzise mit dem Messer arbeiten, und mit dem Deep-Carry-Clip und der Fangriemenöse bietet das Penguin zudem noch ziemlich praktische Tragemöglichkeiten.
