Das Nishi von CRKT ist mit seiner Klingenlänge von 11,2 cm gut für alltägliche Arbeitet gerüstet. Das bei diesem Konzept Lucas Burnley seine Hände im Spiel hat, lässt sich nicht verleugnen. Bei der Gestaltung des Nisihi ließ sich der Designer von der japanischen Ästhetik inspirieren. Die rostfreie Klinge aus 8Cr13MoV Stahl besitzt eine markante, säuregeätzte Titannitrid-Beschichtung und hebt dadurch das Two-Tone-Finsih hervor. Das flache Messer ist perfekt ausbalanciert. Auch die mit Epoxidharz verstärkte Griffwicklung aus einer schwarzen Kordel trägt kaum auf. Die glasfaserverstärkte Nylonscheide (GFK) mit Kordel und Skull ist für mehrere Trageoptionen ausgelegt.
