- Order number: F1PROELM
The F1 from Fällkniven is probably the outdoor knife par excellence, which is known to every knife enthusiast. Now there is this legend as an enhanced F1 Pro Elmax. This model comes with an extremely stable drop-point blade made of high-end Elmax steel, which can withstand even the toughest shock loads without effort. With a blade length of 10 cm, the knife covers a wide range of applications in which you can live out the full potential of this tool. The Thermorun handle is complemented with a stainless steel finger guard for added protection. A lanyard loop at the end of the handle can be used to attach a lanyard to protect the F1 Pro Elmax from falling. Included is a custom-fit cytel sheath that can be attached to the belt with a nylon belt loop.
The Fällkniven F1 Pro 10 is a professional survival knife, which is made in the highest quality and from the best materials. Especially Outdoorgänger and Bushcrafter know it: The blade of the companion quickly becomes dull, and on top of that, traces of corrosion can be seen. That's an end to it! The F1 provides a remedy with its Lam. CoS steel, which is known above all for being wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and cutting. The abbreviation Lam. CoS stands for "laminated cobalt steel". This is triple-layered and consists of a center layer of cobalt steel, which is surrounded by 2 layers of Japanese 420J steel. The satin finish of the blade completes the look of the knife and underlines its noble character.
Especially in wind and weather it happens that the knife slips out of the hand and that in the worst case just when working. To counteract precisely this problem, the F1 is equipped with a handle made of black Thermorun, which lies perfectly in the hand at all times due to its striking and coarse texturing. Thermorun is a plastic that is also used primarily in the automotive industry for airbag surfaces and offers great scratch resistance as well as good heat and chemical resistance. The handle is finished off by a protruding striking element at the bottom, whereas a stainless steel jaw initiates the transition into the blade.
The 174 g knife is stowed in a cytel sheath, which secures the knife via a push button and is worn on the belt. Alternatively, however, the lanyard loop can be used for this purpose. Overall, the outdoor knife is 21.7 cm long, of which exactly 10 cm are taken up by the blade.

Fällkniven - the legendary knives of a family business from Sweden.
Since its founding in 1984 and the first knife series in 1987, the family-owned company Fällkniven has been developing knives made of high-quality materials and of legendary quality. The knife manufacturer has its roots deep in the Norrbotten region of Sweden. Fällkniven stands for pocket knives and outdoor knives that inspire every knife enthusiast and delight people who want to own a durable, strong and sharp knife. Through the elaborate processing of laminated steels such as VG-10 with 420J2 steel, CoS cobalt steel as well as powder steels 3G, SGPS (Super Gold Powder Steel) and damascus steel Cowry X, the blades always achieve long-lasting edge retention. Fällkniven has made a name for itself in the world of knives and has been a guarantor of consistent quality since day one. In order to maintain this high level, the knives are subjected to a quality test at the Technical University of Lulea. The knives are manufactured exclusively in Seki-City, Japan, the sheaths are made in Europe. It is only understandable that Fällkniven is now one of the suppliers of His Majesty the King of Sweden.
